The Hickson Team was AMAZING to work with. Valerie was easy to get a hold of and often times she was able to schedule viewings of homes for the same day. The more we started viewing homes, the better she knew us. When new houses popped on the market that she thought we would like she immediately messaged asking us if we wanted to see it. When we needed a break from house hunting she understood that as well. Additionally, as first time home buyers, she walked us through every step of the process and always gave us her honest professional opinion. When it came time to actually putting in an offer on the home we have now, she negotiated concessions from the seller and got us a huge chunk of money back. We are so happy with the choice we made in our real estate agent and cannot wait to recommend her and use her again when we eventually sell this house.

I have never been so more impressed in Valerie and her team to execute what our family needed to purchase a home. We were a unique client with unique needs. 45 Female, 88 Female, 20 Male, I work from home and also need a spare bedroom for guests. Can you imagine this criterion? I needed a 5 Bed 5 Bath and be in a great location, near freeway, best school system and by the way... in my budget and less than 30 days with a close! The search was on and I have never met anyone that can keep up with me like Valerie, she met every deadline, every expectation, she answered every call, she showed me so many options and in a very short time. Valerie and Chris were a godsend in helping my wife and me sell our Tempe home. They helped to provide referrals to get our home into peak listing shape with a fresh but affordable remodel, focusing on key selling features tailored to our home. Let us preface, this was not an easy home to sell – a 3 bed 2 bath, tri-level with a basement, next to the freeway, with no obvious master bedroom in its “unique” layout. She and Chris hosted several open houses to spur interest and to showcase the pristine remodel. Despite some market headwinds, including a strange election/economic climate, she was able to find a very enthusiastic buyer. My wife and I decided to pursue the path of contingent offer because we wanted to see the home go to a great couple who would continue to be great stewards of the Tempe neighborhood. Despite some technical challenges in proposed contingencies from the buyer, Valerie held true to our desires for how to negotiate the transaction. There were several complexities and rounds of negotiations with the buyer, but Valerie was steadfast in our corner, advocating for our wishes and towards the best interests in closing the transaction. Valerie was absolutely integral throughout the entire process of this contingent offer and maintained quick communication and responsiveness to every little detail that popped up, and there were many! My wife and I would absolutely choose the Hickson team again to represent us in any future Real Estate endeavor. Their extensive breadth of knowledge and experience with Real Estate is unmatched. The Hickson Team, made selling our home a smooth and pleasant experience. They gave us excellent guidance, and knew exactly what to do every step of the process. The Hickson Team was always available (either one or both) for discussion and questions and sensitive to our concerns. As a result, we feel our home was listed at the proper price. Our home sold in 35 days after MLS listing and we received a full offer. They helped us with a gradual entry into the market, starting with a “Coming Soon” announcement, that we feel helped generate early prospect interest in the home. They displayed to us a keen sense of the real estate market: the timing, the pricing, etc. During the home sale period the Hickson Team provided timely communications, with discussions on current market conditions, both nationwide and local, and whether to change pricing, which we did not change. Over the sale period we feel that we developed a new friendship. We would highly recommend the Hickson Team to anyone selling or buying a home. They are the ultimate professionals.

We were looking for a rental property and like fast, things were hectic between work and my schedule to see rental homes. The market was not in my favor for size of house I was looking for. Even with that she remained positive and hopeful and always produced new ways to win. I think we saw 20+ homes in 2 days because of my schedule. I think that’s unheard of in the industry.
