Valerie Hickson exemplifies the qualities of hard-work, empathy, integrity and creativity that show-up in each detail of your real estate transaction. Valerie is an AZ native who has lived in several different parts of the Valley. She started her career in Public Relations and spent another 14 passionate years in Education as a teacher before following her desire to help people find their dream slice of real estate. She remembers a favorite pastime as a child was often driving with her mother to look at model homes and pretending they were her very own house; her early awe and inspiration of homes continues even today! Her favorite part about the Real Estate industry—even today—is still looking at great houses, assembling an easy process for her clients, creating positive relationships, and getting those nitty-gritty details perfect.
Valerie relishes in constantly learning and seeking new knowledge and has written and published several short articles and blogs. She finds joy in reading both fiction and non-fiction, finding daily quotes to keep her energized and positive. A favorite quote is, “every day is a holiday and every meal a feast.”
She has dealt with many angles of the Real Estate industry both selling, buying, renting, and investing. Building strong relationships with the community is what sets her apart; fostering those relationships in order to offer her clients the best in lending, appraising, inspecting, and overall service for every single part of the interaction.
Valerie is a woman of faith, family, and deep connection with people and nature. She loves spending her down-time outdoors hiking, exploring, and connecting with all that this wide Earth offers. When she has time, she likes to research Health and Wellness topics and lives by Einstein’s motto, “look deep into nature and you will understand everything better.” Valerie also loves being at home with her two children and husband, playing games, cooking healthy meals, and splashing in the pool!
